Trade Show Software

This software "what if" model can be used to determine the effectiveness of your trade shows, brochures, coupons or bingo cards if you can't physically track a lead  to the eventual sales. All you need to know is the total number of presentations made as a result of your promotional activity. Knowing this factor allows you to calculate the cost of setting up each presentation as well as the average profit obtained from each presentation. You use the Inquiry Analysis in the model to perform these calculations.

 If the cost of setting up a presentation is less that the average profit obtained from a presentation, you have a winner. If the cost is greater, you have a bummer and probably should change your marketing strategies. To determine these relationships, your calculations are automatically displayed on the graph in the model as shown below.

 The value or profit of a sales presentation is the horizontal line showing a value $67. The cost of a qualified lead from the trade show cuts below the value of a sales presentation after week seven. However, every qualified lead does not result in a sales presentation. The curve on the cost for setting up a sales presentation gets no lower than $193. Therefore, for this particular trade show, the cost for each sales presentation is $193, and the value or profit of each of these presentations is only $67. Obviously, this is a misuse of funds.

The model has three sections. The first one is an on-line help that explains the complete model. The second is a case history that allows you to alter the facts to see the affect on the graph in the model. The third is where you  input  your own data.
